Pre-ordered with Radio Shack. Yay!

This is good news for AT&T. They need to snag as many 2-year contracts as they can before the iPhone becomes available on other networks.

That was super lucky. I checked with AT&T about 30 min ago and they have my pre-order and my phone should be here on the 24th. Fingers crossed.

Latest news is that T-Mobile might get it next because they already use GSM, but who knows?

Don't get this stupid phone, guys. Instead, invest the money into low-risk mutual funds. I never understood why people feel the need to pay ridiculous amounts for the latest gadgets that they don't need, meanwhile they have little or no retirement savings. My phone only cost me $90 and it came with no contract but I max out my RRSP every year.

What if I can afford to do both?

You are, quite possibly, the least appropriate user of this forum ever.

This is coming from a financial advisor. Haha. Plan for retirement, but enjoy life pre-retirement fully as well.

Only small timers need to pay for their own phones or fund their own retirement. You need to get a job that includes a phone and a baller deferred comp package. Car allowance, expense account, travel allowance, prepaid life insurance, company paid LTD insurance, etc. is also advised.

LOL at anyone who thinks people under 40 will even make it to retirement age at all. this ship's going down, baby!

I do find the rush for the latest model a bit funny. We are talking the same sized screen and speed if you already have 3GS. Plus if you want the white model you are shit out of luck (which I do).

I'll just wait till the end of July when things are back to normal. I bet then I'll be able to walk into my local AT&T store and leave with the white model in tow. Every time there is a major Apple release people lose their shit trying to get it immediately and are faced with aggravation. Just wait a few weeks. Dur.
