Oh ye of little SF conditioning. On the real though, $300 isn't bad for shoes. Pretty much all of my non-sneaker shoes have a retail price of at least that.

Jeans... but I spend too much on both.

Wear Vans with Diors most of the time, but once awhile I'll wear my CPs.

My shoes and jeans are usually fairly equivalent (I wear My mxmj denim with clarks db's and my APC's with mil. surplus jump boots) </plebestatus>

IIRC, Andy Warhol only wore a single style of Florsheim plain toe oxford... he owned like 20 pairs or something crazy like that. But would wear them w/ 501's or his sutis and always looked good.
