Fat Men And Goatees.

It seems that most fat men one sees has a goatee going on--this compounds their already unfortunate bulk into something even more grotesque.

Are they simply compensating for their lack of a chin and jawline?

For sure the facial hair disguises the sagging or double chin. But something else is going on with the choice of goatee over beard. Something extra.

I'm fat and sport a goatee myself. It scares polyamorous twigs in their skinny jeans.

When I was younger and skinnier I was clean shaven. When I was fatter I had a goatee. Now that I am skinnier again, I do not.

Not sure what this has to do with anything, but it's a data point.
