Travel as a gift

My parents want to go to Venice and do various things. I want to pay for this and give it to them as a gift. Is there a company that can bundle airfare, lodging, events, etc. to one bill without excessive markups and while obtaining lowest rates? I would like to simply give it in a box as a gift, with a card that says something along the lines of "Call (#) to plan trip, everything is paid for by your son". I could simply write them a check, but that seems very gauche.

Basically, you are looking for a vacation package. I've done a similar thing for my girlfriend and her friend in Las Vegas. Go to Expedia.com and book the whole trip, with events, and the expedia "concierge" can call you afterwards and help you coordinate everything. Assuming they can buy their own food and make the walks to the proper places, everything should workout perfect.
