Street van selling piadina and cold beer at 2am on way back from Milan. Salsicia, peperoni, gherkin etc. Fan-f****n-tastic.

I found a wine bar inside the Denver airport that actually has a reasonable list with reasonable prices.

The food was still kinda crummy, but at least I enjoyed some Riesling with my lunch.

there's a really good wine bar at the Minneapolis airport, of all things. nice charcuterie, good cheese, nice wine and beer at not horrible prices.

Food glue. ( it explains in detail on the packaging actually)

Was taking a walk yesterday and noticed a new "restaurant". It's name is Moo Joo. Nearly went in and asked whether they used Moo Gloo, too.

Ha! My girlfriend had a connecting flight in Minneapolis last night and started raving about this bar as soon as I picked her up!

Man, you really do have all your bases covered.

It allows you to do some neat things combining meats or layering fish fillets to make them thicker and therefore cook differently. In reality it is another way for people to overuse technique and come out with worse results.

it allows the very critical combining of fish and meat to create the indispensable surf'n'turf in the same bite. not to be underestimated.

I figured as much. It's something to be used sparingly and skillfully by someone who knows what he's doing. In my kitchen I think that package reads "recipe for disaster!"

Made my first ever chimichuri sauce last night. It was green and it was good.
