JAL is alright, the food one board isn't better than any other airline though. Their lounges at Haneda and Narita are pretty good though, I think slightly better than other carriers lounges.

My next 4 weeks of meals are looking like this:

Pho in Saigon tomorrow, til mid next week
Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo at the end of next week
Some long-awaited kimchijjigae and bibimbap in Seoul week after next
Pizza and deli sandwiches in New York City in 3 weeks. Not sure if I am gonna try to eat anything fancy in NY or what, still deciding.

I think getting off that plane from Tokyo and having a slice at Grimaldi's or something would be 100x better than eating some Momofuku bullshit ass Asian fusion, but I am thinking maybe Bernadin or Per Se, not sure still. Definitely getting some Kennedy Fried Chicken What I haven't had in a month or so is some real nasty Ameri-Chinese, an Ameri-pizza, and a decent Italian sub. Will be looking for all of those in NY. I want to try that da pan ji chciken dish and Xi'an noodles too.

By the mercy of God, I just finished up a 4 course lunch for 19.

So this is happening...

Beer brats yesteday, stewed in beer, bay leaves, black peppercorns for hours and then finished off over the charcoal. Homemade sauerkraut and pickles brought over by friends and all washed down with Schonramer Gold. Then we all played board games until 2 in the morning. Smokables as well.
