Of course I'm going to have to say Loopwheeler. Best solid t-shirts on the planet (that I know of ).

The burnout tee is an interesting variation on the plain white t shirt, with a random pattern of sheer and opaque areas. And the price (at wholesale, that is) is very easy to swallow.
I have wholesale accounts for both AA's, and pricelists on the selling forums. But I should add in my experience, while the Alternative Apparel shirts are lighter and softer, they're somewhat boxier. However, AA's 6401 summer shirts feel exactly the same way, and still have the American Apparel fit, so plain shirts, I'd probably recommend those over Alternative, especially if you're a size small like me in American Apparel, since Alt. doesn't fit me at all. Thats funny, because merona brand T-shirts and underwear are my favorite. They are just very comfortable and fit me well. I've heard alot of good things about 2(x)ist and was thinking about trying them... Guess I'll just keep buying my merona's.

this thread is funny because in the last issue of vibe, they had a bunch of sourthern crunk rappers rate a bunch of "whitees". their criteria is completely different from the guys on this forum.

I second CK undershirts. I've worn Calvin Klein white T-shirts for a while now. They're pretty good quality and hold up well through washing. Loopwheeler sounds nice and all, but the real question is how much are they?

yea, i read the same article (they are "snap" rappers) and their criteria actually makes sense. They want something heavy, so the skin dosen't show. Paying triple digits for a white T is just stupid. It's a damn white T. Unless you posses the rare ability to pull money out of your ass then it's pretty stupid. Who cares if it's egytian cotton. it's just $^%# cotton.

yeah, i know they're snap rappers, but didn't want to confuse anyone on style forum who might not be familiar.

btw, you've got it wrong, blackplatano.

people who buy a loopwheeler t-shirt, are buying a shirt that will last for decades and will look better with age. there are reasons for the price, which i'm sure people will be happy to school you on.

ALSO, don't you know that if you are really repping the super oversized "whitee" style, you're not supposed to wear it more than a couple times anyways? the style requires that you put on a brand new t-shirt every few days, especially in the summer. ditto for white on white AF1s. unless you want to look like a broke-ass loser.

different people, different styles, different criteria.

Trust me, i know about long white T's. And at $500 it's still stupid, "looks better over time" is very relative. I like my white T's exactly that, white. SO unless the T is going to get whiter over time, then it's getting uglier. I bought A lot of white T's last summer, and haven't even wore half of them. I definatly want them to stay white.

BTW. Uptowns are the greatest sneackers of all time.

trust me, i know a ton about white tees, too. it's all i was rocking 3 years ago when i didn't know no better. might be a style in the south now, but it's been played out in nyc for a minute.

and i'm not sure where you got $500 from, a loopwheeler is like $60.

Which Merona are you talking about? The inexpensive line, the middle tier line (Classic), or the athletic tees with a bit of lycra?

I like Calvin Klein and Uniqlo, too. The fabric and construction of the latter is a bit nicer, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, I spilled red wine all over the front of both of my white Uniqlo t-shirts and am no longer in Japan, so I haven't been able to wear them recently!
