Since it's apparently been a few years since the last thread of this kind, curious if there are any handsome and recommended digital watches, new or vintage, that any of you would recommend. Just need it to have an alarm. Budget is around $200, but feel free to mention items that are as expensive as you want or as cheap as you want.

Thanks!

Only time I think one should wear a digital watch is if it's for athletics. Otherwise get an analog watch or use your cell phone. Just my opinion.

^^^ That actually looks almost usable as a calculator.

As for the OP, I think your best bet lies with Casio. That is unless you care about thermo-compensation and all that nonsense. Really it depends on what kind of look you're going for. If I were to get a digital watch, I'd probably just get a g-shock and call it a night. But don't get me wrong, you're not going to be settling with a g-shock as there's many different choices for you out there. Just take some time to look around a bit.

Just curious... I know some US Presidents have worn Timex Ironmans with suits before... Anyone know which models?

I used to wear those Indiglo watches from Timex(?) years ago. Then again, I worked 3rd shift at an airport, and those were the best cheapie watches that worked well that you could read in the dark out on the tarmac.

This thread reminded me of the Pulsomatic being re-released by Hamilton. It is an automatic digital watch, pretty interesting and I wouldn't mind owning one. Retails for $1,500 though I will instantly pass.

J. Crew just came out with a vintage digital watch based on a World World I digital watch the soldiers really wore in the trenches of European battlefields.

I know Kenneth Cole is pariah on this board, but this is pretty much my go-to watch:

thanks for the help as always & keep the responses coming if anyone else has some favorite models.
