I don't think Roddick is overrated anymore. He was at one point, but even then it was probably mostly just the US-based press pinning a lot of hopes on him that were outsized to reality. Even still, in a Federer-less world he'd probably own 4-5 Grand Slams by now.
As mentioned, he is a one-trick pony, but I really like the guy. I didn't originally, but over the years he's really worked hard to round out his game and he's tried so hard to get over the Fed hump by trying different styles and working on improving. Obviously he sucks on clay, but so do a lot of people (Sampras, anyone?). And he is really a heck of a nice guy. I'll take his press conferences over Federer's any day of the week. Always entertaining.
