This outfit is just plain ridiculous...

Is he wearing that in Leeds?

He could get killed for that...

Wow, it's such a weird contrast to the American one. I usually feel the Americans are too straightforward and unimaginative but it seems the Brits have gone for all the fads. High rolled trou and big, big bow ties to name two. This one is kinda nice tho: edit: Even if you don't agree with the actual fit and style, there are some very nice colours in some of the entries. edit 2: Also, it seems there are no Asian people in Britain.

I think the Esquire one has a higher standard than the GQ contest:

Nothing to do with me being an entrant

That link is deeply depressing. Nice to see the Dashing Tweeds chap in there though.

Are you sure that's not from West Hollywood?

Horrible. Just horrible. I don't see how most of those people are considered best dressed... Just most outlandish in a bad sort of way.

I like how this person described their own style:

"Scruffy but posh, not quite vintage but very charitable"

Don't you love the streak of eccentricity in the Brits?

Only when it's done well.

I'm with you on that one...

I love eccentricity but not for the sake of it...

I like sartorial flair...
