The study and staircase are strongly influenced by the "Mathematician" in Steven Holl's Hybrid Building in Seaside. I lived there for a period.

I like everything but the black leather seating with chrome accents. They make it seem as if the person was going for a certain look and then just found a great deal on the seating. And the nude's not working for me either, they never doing in the living room; they eroticize a communal area. Bedroom, maybe a study/den, but not your living room. Just my 2 cents.
