I'm a red head so I never wear green. I don't get it either edit - I wear green on St Pattys day, gotta look like a leprechaun then

Sure, wearing green from head to toe = leprechaun..... but green shirt/blue pants or green suede jacket/blue pants doesn't = leprechaun

I also have orange hair, I find it tough to find colors that go with it. As trentk implied, orange clashes with a lot of colors, and green is one of the few that it really complements, which is probably why Leprechauns chose it in the first place 8 ).

Personally, I don't wear anything so bold as an emerald green to dissuade comparisons to rich and paranoid Irish midgets, but many of my favorite shirts and Jackets have been a subdued Olive or Loden green.

Not even just a little?

And about redheads wearing green... I'm a dirty blonde, but have a slight reddish tinge (more noticeable in the fall/winter since the sun makes my hair a lot lighters in the summer) and I agree that green is one of the few colors that looks really good in combination with the skin tone/ hair color of redheads. If you keep it to one piece like the jacket then you avoid looking like a leprechaun.

That dude ^ doesn't even begin to look like Pauly Shore.

Where is the second picture? Surely you are not talking about the picture of Pauley Shore two posts above mine?

I just picked up a nice $995 tan Ralph Lauren Suede jacket for $500 from Bloomingdale's. Tan can be worn with more colors than green.
