It was a marginal call. 1:45 was still a ways off. Having just 3hours was pretty good. I was pretty sharp when i went in to the exam. There are other times though, when i've only had a little sleep, that i've been absolutely miserable upon waking up. I must have gone in to REM pretty quickly and woken up just after the first REM cycle. I think it's when you wake up in the middle of one that you feel horrible. This is maybe why sometimes 4 or 5 horus feels worse than 3-3.5.
Today was good though, the caffeine and sugar wore off just in time so that when i hit the mattress I fell asleep almost immediately. It's been a long time since I pulled an all-nighter for an exam though, so I wasn't sure how my body would react.
