Best Liquor Store in Chicago

Preferably from O'hare south and east. I'm going to hit Chicago very, very, very late one night next week, have some business in the morning, then have to be on the road for noon. Want to pick up some North Shore gin, and you know me, always happy to check out awesome liquor stores. Might have time to hit two if it is on my way out of the city.... ~ H

I second GT/Z - Binny's, especially the store on Marcy Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. This store used to be Sam's Wine & Spirits, and it's immense. Locals still debate whether the quality has declined since Binny's took it over a while back.

The Skokie Binny's is pretty good too. But definitely Binnys. They buy/bottle some amazing barrels of scotch, if you want some specifics let me know, I have a bunch.

Sams >>>> Binny's ... so sad

Count me as another Binny's rec. The stores are massive with just about every brand imaginable. The old Sam's was great, especially in regards to wine. Chicago just doesn't have great individual liquor stores, it's much more of a bar town.
