Richard could never be made because he had Irish, and Polish blood. To become a "made man" you have to be 100 percent Italian so they could trace your relatives back to the old country.

The guy is full of it. He had nothing to do with Hoffa. Most evidence points to Frank Sheeran, who was close to Russel Buffalino. Frank was also apparently present at Crazy Joey Gallo's murder. Read "I hear you paint houses". Good book about Sheeran. BTW, latest news has Mickey Rourke cast as the Iceman in the upcoming movie.

Mrs. T read the book but then lent it to her father, who is a bit more leisurely about finishing books. May get my hands on it next year, perhaps.
