What are typical uses for a 6 Volt Battery?

I need some uses for a 6V battery.



Serious answers please. I know they are used in camping lanterns. Anything else? Thanks.

I think that's about it. Aren't they even usually called "lantern batteries?"

If you attach a conductor (even a wire hanger) to the terminals, it heats up rather quickly and will burn the shit out of whatever it touches. (Again, from experience)

USB runs off of 5V, so just say you were remotely charging electronic devices. Just don't mention the 6V vs. 5V difference.
