I'll be 21 in a couple months, I am a student at the University of South Florida majoring in computer science. I was born and raised in Canada and England, and have spent the last 12 years in Tampa. I've been engaged for a couple years with the marriage planned for next summer, and I got three miniature dachshunds who help me pick my outfit in the morning. Other than that, I love looking fashionable, and I stare in the mirror too long, so I guess that's what brought me here lol. Right now my favorite designers are James Perse, RLBL, and Varvatos. Those are the ones I can afford... if I could, I'd love some of Rick Owens's stuff. His stuff is damn luxe. Anyways, hope you all enjoy my company here. I'll have my fiancee post a pic in a day or so for you all to make fun of me

I loved the way they had the sailboats you could take out and use when you wanted. The Tavern on the Green (although they've since had to change their name) was a pretty chill hangout spot too.

She's actually from a place called Fort Walton Beach in the panhandle of Florida, right by Panama City. In that town, almost everyone basically just gets married right out of high school, if they already haven't had kids yet before they graduate. Pretty crazy culture there. Not to say I want to label myself as part of that population lol. I'm proudly Canadian in how I was brought up.
Haha, ok, that's just ABSURD. I'm actually typing this paragraph while sitting at my parent's house IN Panama City Beach. That's where I'm from, therefore I know a pretty good deal about The PCB, Destin & Ft. Walton area. My graduating class had 1600 students and I know of ZERO people who got married or had a kid before graduating high school. That's a pretty weak attempt to try and justify why you got put on lock down at like 18. Some truth would be that all of the Canadians who flock down here in the fall can't drive worth a shit. Cruising 5-10mph less than the speed limit on the highway, while in the left hand lane.......

well that's only what she told me pretty much. Us getting together had nothing to do with her hometown trend, though, don't get that mixed up. Basically, she explained to me that most of the women she went to high school with don't bother going to college, and most of the guys enlist and try their hardest to transfer to Eglin Air Base, so they don't ever have to leave home. It almost seems like a small-town xenophobia: a lot of the guys move right onto the base, a lot of the women marry said guys. That was her generalization anyway, and since I've only visited up there a handful of times, it take it to be true. I do have old fraternity brothers who are from Panama City though, and there is herself. Maybe it was just her hometown? She went to high school in an area called Crestview, which is a little north of Fort Walton where she was raised. Oh and as for driving, I'm nothing like the snow birds lol. Especially since I learned how to drive in Tampa. I'm more like an Atlanta driver if I had to label myself with a city's trend of driving.

Lovely that you think that of me. Truth be told, I feel the same way. I'm a terrible Jew really... I stopped doing most of the holidays except setting out a manora for Hanukkah and smoking a hookah on my balcony for Sukkot. And I eat bacon.

The Pianist is a great movie though, seen it so many times... I love the part where the Nazi officer finds him playing piano in abandoned house, and just listens the entire time. Very serene, not a typical encounter between the enemies in most WWII movies.
