I've been lurking styleforum for a couple weeks and I've finally decided to make an account now. I just wanted to introduce myself... I'll be 21 in a couple months, I am a student at the University of South Florida majoring in computer science. I was born and raised in Canada and England, and have spent the last 12 years in Tampa. I've been engaged for a couple years with the marriage planned for next summer, and I got three miniature dachshunds who help me pick my outfit in the morning.

Other than that, I love looking fashionable, and I stare in the mirror too long, so I guess that's what brought me here lol. Right now my favorite designers are James Perse, RLBL, and Varvatos. Those are the ones I can afford... if I could, I'd love some of Rick Owens's stuff. His stuff is damn luxe.

Anyways, hope you all enjoy my company here. I'll have my fiancee post a pic in a day or so for you all to make fun of me

This. And you do know you go to an institution called the 'University of South Florida', however it's not located in South Florida?

I go to USF too. I'll be at St. Pete campus next year though. St. Pete downtown is that hot fire.

haha, everyone always reacts that way!

I know she's the girl for me though. She's made me happy every day since I've met her, and I can say I've done enough experimentation that this wouldn't be a blind "first love" thing that so many other couples get trapped in. She's actually from a place called Fort Walton Beach in the panhandle of Florida, right by Panama City. In that town, almost everyone basically just gets married right out of high school, if they already haven't had kids yet before they graduate. Pretty crazy culture there. Not to say I want to label myself as part of that population lol. I'm proudly Canadian in how I was brought up.

That's awesome. Former Golden Brahma myself, as is Mr. G. (He attended the Tampa Campus though, IIRC). Odd that USF seems to be represented more on here than FSU.

How about it's located in the southernmost part of Florida that's suitable for habitation?

Yep, I'm a Bull. I split my time between the two campuses, but I spent most of my time in St. Pete. I loved the St. Pete campus - there was nothing like spending a couple hours between classes on the lawn in front of DAV with my iPod just watching the water and listening to music (often Buffett).

I'm super jealous. All my classes are in boring ENG classes with no windows. :/

Are any of you in a fraternity by the way? I was initiated into Kappa Sigma, but I dropped the frat life about a couple years ago. I only talk to a couple of my brothers now.
