Not a huge fan of chuck's styled shoes, but I kinda like those soles.

PS: What the hell happened to this thread, the last 6 months have been horrid in the world of affordable shoes

I kinda don't see the point to the thread, really. There are basically a few great looking non-baller snearks and that's about it. Converse, Jack Purcell, Superga, Adidas Spezials (et al), Vans, Topsider classic canvas, a few others.

There isn't much else in the non-baller price range that doesn't start getting ugly.

Ha ha. No, not quite. I wear strictly nonballers myself. It just seems that our options in this price range don't extend very widely. There are some great looking classic options but not a lot of them. I'm okay with that, though.

Affordable sneakers -

The JCP Army Trainer... a decent knockoff of the baller MMM German Army Trainers.

I got mine in off color white for $25.49 after the coupon. Current sale price is $29.99. They used to retail for $50.00. Kick ass classic sneakers without visible branding after a much loved style. You can't go wrong with 'em and people apparently agree as remaining inventory is limited.

I've always hated the rubber grill at the toe.

Those are really nice, however they are $575. The ones I posted are probably about $40

Those are Zuriick. Closest thing they have right now: http://zuriick.com/products/albert-raven

But you're better off with some Chucks, Blazers or Sk8 His.
