The definitive SF-approved non-baller sneaker thread - Page 166

I'm searching for a new pair of nice (low) sneakers. They should look anything like those ones:

http://www.fredperry.com/footwear/men/finn-twill-plimsoll.html

http://www.fredperry.com/tonic-canvas-shoe.html

http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11781458&cp=1760781.1898623&view=all&ab=viewall&parentPage=family

What colour would you prefer, especially in combination with jeans, chinos or shorts?

I'll bite. If what you're looking for should look like any of those, why not just buy, well, any of those?

I just read an old post of LAGuy's where he mentions that Adidas uses some of the crappiest leather on their athletic hoes, and it he mentioned things some things that gelled perfectly with my previous experience (the flaking off of white leather, the very ugly and immediate creasing.)  I wonder if that's also the case with SLVR?

^^ used CPs allday

New Converse x Inventory Magazine collab sneakers, also come in dark blue

I really like them and want them to wear everywhere but I'm wary as they're suede

Anyone have experience with wearing suede sneaks in the winter (i'm in australia - no snow but it gets rainy) and how they look beat up / how well protector helps?

But just apply some protection-spray and try avoid walking in poddles and you should be fine
