Yeah, I'm curious too. The thing that drives me crazy about Converse and other canvas sneakers is how the rubber so quickly starts to pull away from the canvas in and around the toe box as the shoe bends over and over from walking. Hoping these will hold up a little better.

Adidas x The Soloist collaboration is on sale. Might be a good solution for people.

Looks like people are starting to pay attention, as they're now available at Hickorees, Mohawk General Store, and Steven Alan. Anyways, made in Japan, hand sewn, fired in a kiln (not exactly sure what the benefits of that are, but there you go) comfortable, and a nice "natural" color that beats the standard Converse beige/off white by a mile and isn't too "brand new really white shoe" looking. $155 (is that non-baller attainable?)

Those look great!!! But I was googling and can't find any 'conservative' outfits that I would wear with these. I was wondering if you could post a conservative fit wearing these please shog[1].gif

They are plain shoes. If you want to look boring just wear a casual ocbd and some chinos (if you're feeling feisty you could wear bright colored chinos) with those shoes. Problem solved.

I have these Stau shoes from Yoox.

http://www.yoox.com/us/44396290AW/item?dept=men#sts=sr_men80&cod10=44396290AW&sizeId=

Leather is good, not lined, so quite thin. Comes with two extra laces, for $45 they're a steal.
