I have a pair of those black ones and I've literally never worn them. They're sitting on a bookcase at my parents house right now...
That second pair looks terrible though. Not a good substitute.
Hah, if only you were a size 9.5
But yea, still looking for something similar but probably will just save up for a single pair of semi-baller sneaks after selling some stuff
I'll wear them eventually. Indys are for sale, I might as well sell the chippewas too (nah, winter is coming). All I want right now in footwear is some black lanvin hightops (noobizor style).
I'm in search of a pair of white low tops similar to the cp achilles
No converse nor svensson. I've seen a pair of nikes which could've fit the bill, but the're canva, and I'm looiìking for leather. Any suggestion, please post.

No offense, but you're coming from MC aren't you? Worrying about the construction of $50 sneakers is illogical.
Try and find small brands. Preferably with minimal branding.
I'll update with examples in a bit.
EDIT:
Gourmet diciotto. Guess how much.
i need these! i can't find them anywhere. any links?
Much as I hate to admit it, I'm slowing coming to the conclusion that almost every sneaker/trainer looks inappropriate on a guy like me over 50, unless I'm working out. I say this after having purchased about 4 or 5 different kinds over the past year, including an Addidas Campus. About the only one that I like anymore is my white canvas Sperry Topsider boat shoes, and probably only for warm weather with chinos. I think I'll get another pair in navy and that will be it for this old man.
I seriously think that, for me, only desert boots and brogues look any good with my jeans.
Interesting. You usually hear about "sizing down" in this forum and rarely about "down sizing." But really, for not too much money, I would think you could find much better looking shoes than those--yikes!

I had something like 15 pairs of adidas/nike I hadn't used, so decided it was time, so I could get something new.
They are for walking the dog, so they need to be comfortable.

Beautiful shoes VLSI. How do you store/maintain them?
