Makes the shoes look more casual? I don't know, always figured that the only reason anyone liked the moccasin construction was if comfort was a big thing for them.

The most recent pair I bought is this pair, re-creating the 1974 look of the Puma Match Classic. Being a British traditionalist I only wear the brands we wore in London when I was young, So that's Adidas, Puma, Gola and Dunlop only!

Sorry for late response guys, I can't find the link but i bought them at Atrium in NYC cause they stock Android homme shoes. Bought them at like 150 + tax ... for the elephant leather and CP soles. Stitching isn't as good as CP though if that means anything

And in keeping with that, about five years ago I bought these very retro 1960s Gola track shoes, minus spikes of course, but the holes for the spikes are marked out. Ultra-light, body made from cardboard and cloth it feels like, suede (toe) and leather trim (white). I only wear them in the summer though. A lighter shoe is impossible to find. My current very light technical running shoes weigh at least 4 or 5 times as much as these.
