For me they've been true to size. They also don't run narrow.

Do you mean true as in same as Nike sneakers? or dress shoe size.

Since this is meant to be a "definitive SF-Approved" thread, can someone go through and edit out the non-approved shoes? Having the bad mixed in with the good can be very confusing for newbies like me who are still trying to develop a good sense of style.

Those 'slim' chucks, just seem like a modern reinterpretation of them... I like them. They sort of look worn in, i mean the profile is like a clean worn in chuck.

Allow me to summarize: chucks, jacks, supergas and keds all with laces no slip on.

My girl has a pair of slim chucks, i'm not sure if they come in mens/womens, but hers are really slim. They're slimmer than keds slim, like definitely a feminine shape slim. I say why not just get 1. regular chucks or 2. keds.

I have the muji shoes in white (got them for the summer) and they're pretty good. The shape is really nice, the canvas is sturdy but thin enough to breathe and the sole is really thin but well constructed. They don't have great traction compared to vans authentics (last summer's white canvas shoe for me) though they're still better than the weird plastic/rubber hybrid on chucks these days. Regardless of the price, they have a really good shape and low profile which makes them perfect for, as impolyt said, inconspicuous but attractive canvas sneakers.

i can already feel even small rocks and **** when i walk in chucks, i dunno how comfortable those slims are, their really ******* popular over here right now, mainly with girls. They probably don't crack at the sides of where your toe flexes though which is where my converse always die.

they are apparently the go-to shoe for members of the French Foreign Legion, which in and of itself is a pull to these shoes IMHO.

Nice legs. Oh and the sneakers aren't bad either.
