Remember there are at least two people you should never listen to in a girl advice thread: Connemara, and sho'nuff.

I dunno. Sometimes I really wish my girlfriend spoke only Spanish and I didn't speak it at all.

Yeah, but 96 - 26 is way bigger than 40-23

I agree. The age difference does not show. Just keep looking young, having fun, enjoyign life and you should be able to date many, many young women.

Tell them the Cameron Diaz's secrets to looking young:

It very hard to pass up the opportunity to date such a beautiful lady but besides the age there is another catch she dose not speak much english and I speak very little spanish, plus she lives in Mexico. My job sends me there every two weeks for a week or two.
Has anyone experienced dating:
1) someone half your age.
2) someone that you have to use your Iphone to translate your conversation
3) someone that lives in another country and you only see a couple days a month.

Such an age gap is not out of the ordinary in developing countries. They are brought up to look at your age as an advantage. This doesn't necessarily mean she is sincere, though.

Many non-US cultures have strong traditional gender roles which depict younger woman-older man as a normal relationship.

She looks like she's 30 minimum, possibly a decent looking 35.

this thread is disappoint. but good for OP I guess.

Enjoy the relationship!!

I will tell you that the language thing can turn into a big deal. I tried it while I was in the military and it was OK but after a while when you want to have a real conversation it can be frustrating.

You're getting ready to spend 2 weeks with her so you'll see if its going to be an issue. Only you can know whats right for you. You will know when/if it starts to go bad.

I know the other poster wasn't being serious but I do believe that her social status and education will be a factor.
