Was the rolex that essential for traveling? Fucked up for her, but she should of left the watch at home.

that is really f'ed up. a person should be entitled to take their jewelry whereever they go, but for an airport to do this, is criminal. hope they found it or at least reimburse her.

So travellers should leave their watches at home? That's a stupid thing to say. You might as well say the same thing when someone gets mugged for their jewelry. Was it so necessary to wear a diamond necklace to dinner and then on a romantic walk back? And what's the difference between a watch or a laptop or iPod? It shouldn't have been stolen, and with all the cameras around, should be recovered quickly. Period.

that sucks, but what a dumbass. IF she just played by the rules like everyone else and put her little watch on the conveyor to begin with, no one would have thought twice. But nope. She made a scene like a self entitled brat and look what happened.


I saw a scam a while ago where people set up a decoy and essentially steal stuff from the machines as it comes off cause everyone is stuck in line.

This is a bunch of generic advice for people traveling abroad and who are not familiar with the streets or the safety of the country they're visiting (the page title and intro should be good hints for you).

This has nothing to do with some woman flying from Norfolk, VA to Jacksonville, FL. She's taking a mode of transportation that's not especially known for jewelry theft, and can take whatever she pleases on the plane as long as it's not prohibited. TSA agents have no business stealing stuff. And there's no blaming the victim here, sorry.

Again, your arguments are laughable (to be generous)
