GG, online poker.

No. GG American service from the 4 big sites. There is a reason they went after those companies in particular. iPoker and Cake Network, along with others, have been much more compliant with the govt and will most likely continue to do what they are doing which is serve the US market

So if I still wanted to start up an online poker career, I could go to ipoker or cake?

I'd suggest a real job.

Yup
But to answer your question, it doesn't matter. Either site will have enough players to get regular games running.

Well I was joking with the career thing. I realize I'm not going to live off micro stakes.

First night at a new game near my new place, I really didn't want to play and I don't care about money right now, just wanted to meet some new people cuz I'm new to the area. But damn, ive never seen a 1/1NLHE game so crazy. We played from 8 to 4 and 18 players came through in all; some serious degens. When we broke we cashed out 4.5k to 6 different players and I never had to rebuy. Highlight of my night was winning an 800 BB pot that went to showdown (my total bluff overshove that was snapped by a low drawing hand)

Can anyone recommend a website or download for mutliplayer poker that is free and isn't a hassle to play for fun? There are so many and I don't know what is good or not. I remember I had a java game or something like that that allowed me to connect to a bunch of games, but that was a while back.

Facebook?

Not me, but my friend just won the EPT Berlin. Pretty crazy... this guy would crush everyone when we played in the dorms at uni. He played online a ton and this is his first big break. 825,000 euro is quite a bit of bank...

^ Nice cash. Did he pay the full entrance fee or win some satellites?
AFAIK he was the Pokerstars online qualifier. Not sure if he paid the fee, but either way, damn. That's a life-changing amount of money for a 23-year old, 2 years removed from an undergrad.

I always thought that the last guy on the bubble that didnt cash out was a total idiot.

Played a tourney last night, finished 9th. Cash out was for the top 8.
