Inventory's boxing day sale. Only place I've been able to find a medium. Somehow I question that Odin's stock is accurate on the website. On the other hand, they don't accept Paypal and only ship UPS. Bows + Arrows has one left in a large, but it also is not on sale.

About 3 weeks ago, I bought one for around $120 from a Bloomingdales in NYC (I believe the 504 Broadway location), At the time, I think they had two more. I would guess they have sold out now, but it would probably not hurt to try calling them.

Also, Nepenthes had a couple of them at that point, but they were at full price.

It is probably my favorite flannel shirt now. Good luck!

To those with the flannel work shirts, do they shrink much after a wash or dry? The fit is fine in the shoulders and body widthwise, but the shirt is awkwardly long (could be shorter by a good 1" to 2") and the side gussets are higher than normal. Do you guys just wear the shirt tucked? Anyone have any luck shrinking it, or having it tailored? edit: I've got the same flannel linked above (in rust tan navy) but in a size L. The medium is already 29" long, I think size L is 31". I'm 6' tall and the shirt's still too long. No one else with the same problem?

^^Didn't buy one, but I did try both M and L...and the length is why I didn't. I like the high gussets but the tails...dunno. If you tuck them in and raise your arms then they gap at the gussets. I'm sure you could get it tailored. I've said this before (as a huge EG fan) this cut is not for everyone. I don't think you'd want to shrink the shoulders.

No--the flannels don't really shrink. I occasionally tuck in the few larges I have--but leave the mediums untucked. The high side gusset doesn't bother me--as I typically wear a shirt undearneath the flannels or leave them unbuttoned with a t shirt underneath. I know some people have mentioned on the forum they have had a lot of success having a tailor shorten the workshirts.

yep, usually wear oxford underneath and the storm parka keeps me warm enough walkin outside when its low 30s with wind. the high neck flap is nice when its windy too.

This is what I do as well. I do not find the shirt too long really but am a bit annoyed by the high side gussets. I have taken to wearing a v-neck undershirt underneath to mitigate the issue.

Thanks guys, I will take it to the tailors and see what they say. Just afraid it'll look funny with the last button closer to the shortened bottom hem.

I think I'm going to have my tailor take the excess fabric on the bottom (especially in the back, and use it to place in between the side gussets, shortening the length while adding some needed length to the gusset. Anybody else done this?

Might look odd if the gussets are too long I think. How much are you going to get it shortened?
