Engineered Garments FW 2010 - Page 65

Receieved my l/s Bike shirt yesterday. It's a great piece! Pretty thick with the fleece lining. I ordered a Sm on advice from the folks at J+O, they were right. Gave it a wash and low dry, fits really well. I'm normally an XS in EG stuff, Med in BoO, and this is a very nice fit.

In the sales thread someone mentioned that Legion Los Angeles has EG on sale.

Side seams aren't cut like the EG workshirts at all. It's not "slim" through the lower body, but can definitely be tucked.

Nepenthes New York has plaid workshirts at 50% off. Had a few dozen last week. Thought it was odd they weren't selling at retail, but IMO the fit is not for everyone (narrow shoulders, floppy long tails, low pockets). Nice colorways and fabric, plus groovy red button... Tried some on but even at $90 didn't feel like pulling the trigger.

I hear you about the fit. The flannel classic shirt just arrived in the mail and the tail is even longer that the flannel work shirt I bought last month. If I don't tuck it in it looks ridiculous. But I can't complain about the overall quality.

Got myself an olive Hartford jacket from the sales. Shame it's too damn cold to be wearing it at the moment. Been wanting a charcoal one ever since the first pics came out, but olive ain't so bad. Might still be tempted to get a charcoal one if I see it at a good price.

Thinking about getting an olive Explorer jacket now...
