Does anybody know of a store with the khaki corduroy Irving jacket in small? Everywhere I've called is out. The only place I've found is the Nepenthes store in NY and they don't ship. Alternatively, will anyone proxy it for me and ship to me in Chicago? I'll make it worth your while. Thanks!

I think the cpo is a great deal. $230 for pretty soft wool in a classic style...but modern fit. I've got a vintage navy cpo that may get permanently dry-docked, as it were...

is the collar on the fireman jacket ridiculous?

I just received a pair of EG USN pants (navy whipcord) and notice that there are two "eyes" pre-sewn onto the hems, which I presume are meant for laces to go through, and thereby turning the hems into cinchable hems, just like FW09 EG pants.

But the problem is that the pants didn't come with laces. (Or did they?) If they didn't come with laces, where are we supposed to buy laces to use for those eyes? Use shoe laces?

I would love to hear insights or advice you guys have on these USN pants hems. Thanks.

They should come with them. Call the store you bought it from and if that doesn't work call or email EG

The USN Pants that I tried on at Bloomingdales did not have ties either.

Personally, I always take these out as soon as I get a pair of EG pants, seem kinda silly to me.

Where did you find the USN whipcord to order? I have been looking for the olive everywhere, but cant find anyplace besides some Japan sites which wont ship to NA.

I got my USN navy whipcord pants from Bloomingdales in New York. Phone-ordered it. And they delivered. I don't think they carry the olive version though, which looks great too from the pictures online.

Also, I personally like the ties in the hem a lot. Great to cinch them over a pair of boots for example. I love my pair of FW09 serge wool cinch pants because of those ties.

Gary, and those of you who bought the USN pants (in any fabric) from this season, could you please check yours to see if the laces came with your pair? (I've also emailed Angelo about it).

Was not aware of the back pockets on these shirts. Nice:

I contacted EG about this because our USN pant also came without drawstring. I was told that they did not include it and if you wanted the drawstring you could obtain one yourself.

Bloomingdales in SF has some EG on pretty steep discount (40% off of already discounted prices). Not sure of their complete stock, but I saw 1 pair of the USN pants in navy in a 36; the Diamond Andover in Small, Large & XL; the 19th Century shirt in Grey Diamond Dobby, a few flannels, vests & one Pea Jacket.

Damn, I wasn't holding my breath on the Andover and passed. Hopefully it'll hit boxing day sales or something...

What size do you need? They do run small.
