Just called the store and the phone has been disconnected. Anyone know if they have gone out of business?

That is so strange, I called the same number and they had said it had been disconnected. Strange.

Damn I gotta go by there. Stopped into the Jack Spade on Oak a few weeks back and was pleasantly surprised.

George Greene is directly across the hallway from Jack Spade, and yes they were open as of last week.

Nice pics - I didn't know Inis Meain made shirts - anyone handle one?

Really awesome store. Was just there yesterday. They have a great selection of "hip" meanswear (think Band of Outsiders) to classics (Kiton, etc.). The staff was very friendly, and the tailor gave me some spot-on advice on garments I was trying. To be honest, most of the stuff was a little rich for me (think $700 starting point for sweaters, $1250 for a jacket) and it wasn't the type of store to have a sales rack.

I went to Barneys down the street and had fun there.

good store. stopped by in 2010 - they were not 100% spot on with their knowledge of their own products though, but nice to see kiton being sold...
