Sheets, money no object

Thread Starter
I have read a few things about linens here, but would like to ask the following question. If you were looking for super soft, really cool (as in "to the touch") sheets and cost was not a factor, what sheets would you buy? I have researched for months and I can not make up my mind. Hotel sheets are nice, westin and SLS in California but didn't think to look, and am wondering if there's something even better. I can afford to spend whatever I need to spend, I just want them to be fANTASTIC.

There are several threads here about bed sheets, many of which are substantially more expensive than the ones you mention. I'm sure a search will turn them up.

Clouds infused with Charmin fabric softener, imo.

My sheets and pillowcases have all started to tear. It's annoying. No cash to replace shit like that right now.

Will probably go with linen next time.

Speaking of linen, has anyone tried the restoration hardware linen sheets yet? Not too outrageous at ~$250 but I'm curious as to how they wear.

Really happy with sferra 400 tc. Higher TC = more softer, but less durable.

If money is no object, goto Nordstroms or some other high end department store and buy the best sheets they have. If you want your sheet's to feel amazing, get silk sheets and shave your body (arms, legs, everything), according to girls i've talked to, it feels amazing. But being a guy people might think your weird for having a shaved body.

I have silk pajamas. They are wonderful for bumming around the house in, but not so wonderful for sleeping in. Cotton or linen breath a lot better. I would never want silk sheets.
