Being in style in SoCal - Page 2

Ladies, please. It ain't about red or blue in LA, but brown... And DGP, welcome to Cali. Weesssstttsssiiiiiiiide.

I would suggest just sticking with whatever is your current style. I don't see the point of trying to blend in with the "locals", esp since there are so many different styles represented in greater SoCal, you're not gonna look out of place unless you're accustomed to wearing burlap sacks. Isnt that the point of having your 'own style', regardless of where you are you still rock your own thing.

Have fun out here, there's a ton of cool shit to do every nite of the week if you want.

Whatever you do, do NOT pop your collar!

Thats about the only cardinal sin in SoCal.

Exactly, just do your own thing and you'll stand out. There are lots of styles represented but I think most are either very stylish or non-stylish trend whores.

Just make sure you over accentuate your New York accent. Chics open up on that. Also, one more rule, if I may, watch the OC and don't dress that way.

I went to school in Boston, not NY, and the only reason I watch the OC (all the time) is that it makes it even easier to imagine Mischa Baron naked.

Bull. Everyone I know in the OC alternates between white or black wife beaters and Penguin polos. Anything else is pure lies.

"Welcome to the OC, bitch."

i live in soCAL(laguna)..penguin polos are a must here esp white and black...graphic tees, dark colored jean(dark black or blue),and slim-fitting shirts will get you in the soCAL scene.also sneakers and flipflops are a must..and whatever you do,don't pop your collars!!!

I hate it when jokes come back to haunt me. Especially since I wear penguins. Crap.

where at in Boston, just out of curiosity?

Too bad Mischa died on the show You'll have to imagine her naked while pretending to window shop in bebe stores...

Seriously, it seems like half the people I run into in LA are originally from the East Coast, kinda funny...

Well that's good. At least you didn't end up at the University of Newton like a few of my buddies. I'd kill for a beer over in faneuil hall right now.

Heh sorry to break the news, but you'd probably be like "when is she going to show up?" if you watch the next season. I used to hang out with a lot of Tufts people when I went to school in Boston. We hung out at a couple places near Davis Square fairly regularly...
