Hey man its cool. Like I said, you post funny shit sometimes so its all good. There are a few other losers on the forum who only ever post those kind of things and its lame. Luckily you balance it out. Haha.

Why does it appear you were just punched in the face...possibly as a result of wearing that shirt?

As was mentioned, I think color, especially the noticeable use of crazy colors lacks subtlety. There's a much higher level of sophistication going on when you play with textures, silouettes, patterns, etc. To me, large or crazy patterns are probably the "cheapest" way to make something stand out, doesn't require much thought. Next comes crazy colors. of course I'm generalizing here. If anything it takes a lot of work to use a lot of color or pattern in a way that's well done, or simply big balls, eg Barims, or Uncontrol. then there's James who just mishmashes a bunch of crazy stuff together and it generally just looks overdone.

I use the WAYWT thread a bit different than most. The few fits Ive posted, I get negative feedback or none at all. For me, that means I am on the right track. I am trying to get away from the herd - not become part of it. So many different cities/states/countries, I never take fashion "truths" as so.

Lavender, forest green and reds are staples in my wardrobe. I am happy with color. YMMV.

When you go against "common wisdom" you feel like you're on to something and fighting the good fight. This might be true and is indeed the way societal norms get challenged but then again 99% of the time it is merely because your opinion/stance just sucks.

This forum is weird simply because it's often hard to separate the trolls from the delusional people who just don't know any better. But it takes an awfully large capacity for self-delusion to take negative feedback and lack of feedback and interpret it as "I must be on the right track".
