Could someone help with Cheap Monday sizing? - Page 2

I have a pair of Cheap Monday jeans with the slight elasticity in the "denim", and they're literally skin tight. You could count the change in my pockets. I don't wear them and really should've sent them back, but I'm lazy. Definitely don't size down - I'd even consider sizing up one if you want to avoid nuts-constriction.

Oops, I meant 30 inches, not 33. :P Screwed up with converting from centimeters ... since you'll probably be too lazy to convert yourself. Sorry if this was the cause of the whole going off-topic.

But Assassin, 2% spandex in them means they will stretch around you while you wear them, and then return to previous size. An all cotton jean will stretch where stressed, and then usually stay like that. If you size down on a unisex skinny jean I'd imagine it would be close to skin tight.

I know what it means, it's just that my levi's only shrunk back when washed the first few times, and now even after a wash they're quite stretched out. In other words they lost their ability to shrink back to 'original' size (i.e. when bought).

I'm pretty sure it was the whole cause LOL 6' 140lbs and 30 waist is probably similar to my proportions just taller. I wear 28x32 in 511 and my 28x34 cheap mondays are quite a bit skinnier. Maybe not in the waist? But in the hips and legs definitely.

True to size in cheap monday tight is half way in between 511 and 510 I'd say, sizing up one will give a fit similar to 511's I'd imagine, although likely a bit more tapered.

I don't mess with cheap monday jeans for this reason... they're just too tight. I don't mind a slim fit pair of jeans, but damn. Some thigh-crushing ball-mashing action here. Cheap monday blazers on the other hand are nice when I get em on sale. Nice look tho the build isn't the best... just the right fit for me (6'3 @ 200)... many RTW euro blazers are way too small across the chest.

Thanks dude, you've helped a lot with your opinion. Also thanks to everyone else, especially the off-topic posters for keeping the thread on top for the right people to see.

i've been told by a sales rep at weekday that the sizing can change pretty drastically from the batches of jeans that get made, so it's best to try em on if you want a sure fit. makes it a bit risky ordering online though
