Stylish and different, nice!

Looks like something Miguel Angel Jimenez would wear.

I take it you don't walk.

I haven't found many courses that take walkers.

I don't usually, but I'm curious as to why you say that.

Probably has something to do with those probably not being the most comfortable shoes to walk a golf course in.

Never found this thread before, probably would spend to much time in it, but can't wait for this cold weather in Blacksburg to roll away. Got my MP-59s in July (replaced my MP-67s now that I can't play quite as much) and they've been woefully underused (university...).

My home course here though. Can't wait to hit it again:

Brutally hard off either the back or second furthest tees. Think my low gross is 70 off the Maroons (7088 yds, 74.7 CR).

Re the walking: Pretty much everybody at my course walks, which is awesome. Especially considering how hilly it is.

I've always walked on the golf course, hot, cold, rain or shine.

I wouldn't say that. Edward Green's are incredibly comfortable.

As someone mentioned, I'd find it hard to walk 36 holes in leather-soled dress shoes. But I have kind of funny feet.

Don't get me wrong, they are handsome shoes, and I wish I could wear something with that style to golf in, but my feet would literally be bloody stumps at the end of the second round.

I've only found mountain and resort courses seem to prohibit walking.

Its not that they arent comfortable, its just that they probably are not as comfortable as a shoe specifically made for walking golf courses with all the padding around them. Plus they probably wouldnt be great for walking in the morning dew without getting soggy socks. However i could be wrong, ive never tried it, and i am just going off what i see from the picture, so who knows.

Walk two rounds? People do that? That's a lot of walking.

Comfortable walking shoes help. You get used to it pretty quick. It takes me a few weeks at the start of the season before I can walk 36 holes without it affecting my swing at all. After that, I find walking helps my game.
