for Bagels I like the montreal style ones from St. Urbain. love Gryff's too but they're so damn small and expensive. Worth trying though. Bagel world has a nice large plaited (maybe challah?) bagel. speaking of challah, the best I've had is Tova's bakery. I know there's one in Thornhill, not sure where else though. For St. Lawrence, agreed, the produce is lacking but meats and cheeses are good. Did you see the mustard place upstairs?! While you're there, on the lower level def have one of those veal sandwiches (get onion and peppers plus hot stuff), amazing! Kensington is ok for food I guess, but I prefer Chinatown right nearby. Also I think on Thurs(?) there's a few stalls that open along King street West taht sell anything from fruits to honey.

Worth the trip to Davisville. Great location. Good tasting bar, too. Best selection of good wine outside of the Bayview Village location.
