Slim/tapered trosers with big feet

I prefer a slimmer pant leg, but I can't help but think it looks a bit off due to the size of my feet. Do really tapered pants with big feet look ridiculous, or am I crazy?

I found that adding a cuff to the trouser gives it a little more balance. I wear 32" waist with fairly skinny cuts, but my feet are 12uk. Also eliminating break serves to reduce the level to which your clown feet are highlighted. The eye is more confused about seeing your socks when you walk to worry about how long your foot is.

I wear between a 12 to 14 depending on type of shoe and brand and don't have a problem with tapered/pants. I huarantee it looks a lot less noticeable to everyone else than it does to you.

It bothers me the most when the opening of the pants leg is similar in size to the opening of the shoe.

Slim/tapered trousers with big feet and short legs = odd
Slim/tapered trousers with big feet and long legs = fine

This forum is playing hell with my body image self-esteem!

Well short legs and long feet look a bit odd, whatever the taper is. It's true of long legs and short feet too, or anything that looks a little out of balance. The taper in this case is only accentuating this mismatch.
