Are PRPS raw selvedge jeans sanforized?

They should be non-sanforized, as they shrink a bit on wash.

They do stretch out a good deal on wear, though.

ALL PRPS denim is non-raw, selvage, and unsanforized. No exceptions. You will need to give them a boiling soak when you get them, and be sure to agitate them in the water while doing so for even shrinkage before you wear them. Other than that you don't need to take any kind of precautions when washing them regardless of wash, cut, or style.

Keep in mind you will need to size up 2 - 3 (some go up 4) to account for the shrinkage from the unsanforized denim. Typical shrinkage from PRPS in the first wash is 3" - 4" in the waist band.

Edit: Mr. Moo, I think you might be confused on PRPS's definition of "raw". PRPS uses the term raw because they are unwashed; however, PRPS does not use indigo dye like most other Japanese denim manufacturers, and thus will not fade with wear, nor are they effected by washing them in a machine washer.
