You need to work on strengthening your chinline/jawline. Do the Jack LaLanne face exercises found on youtube. I think you'd look pretty cool with something out of the mid/late 60s, updated for today, but sticking with the goal of fuller on the sides. That's going to be key. Your face is longer and triangular, so you want to compensate by filling out the area from the top of your ears down to your jawline. Rather than shorter, go a bit longer and much wilder/wider. You want to add width/volume to the bottom half of your face. Create symmetry and girls will reward you with more sex (as long as you do push ups, dress well, and have game of course).

You can get it like in the video below pretty quickly. Notice the 'burns length to add width. Crucial to pull it off. It's the messiness and the stragglers that create the illusion of fullness. You'll have to remind your stylist you want to keep that stuff in, otherwise that's precisely the stuff they'll cut when you go in for a trim. Don't rely on your verbal explanation of the look to the stylist if you decide on that cut, take in some screen captures or the video itself so they can see it. http://www.vimeo.com/11867567

Refresh your browser, go through the entire thread again, I put better examples up and explained the idea a bit more clearly in my OP. Your facial structure resembles Richard Ashcroft, Todd Rundgren, Syd Barrett so look at photos of them, although I included pics. Print out pics that you like and take them to the salon with you, you want to give them an idea of your goal. You'll have to go in for a few shape ups as it grows in. It'll take the summer to get there, but by the time school is back in session you'll be looking...what do the kids call it these days - Phat, Dope, Blazin, Off Da Hook, Funky Fresh, Neat-O. The exercises that'll benefit you the most are around the 50 sec mark of this video
