*U.S Online Shopping Proxy Service for CANADA

I've been providing an online shopping service for people in Canada for the past year and a half. Most of those who have been dealing with me have been female clients (thru friends and word of mouth) and I thought I would expand my client base and offer my services to SF. I've sold personal items thru SF and superfuture with no problems and have been a member since late 2006. orders from last week For inquiries and orders, please contact me at alexjc88@gmail.com _________________________________________________________________________ For online stores that accept Canadian credit cards, I ask that you make the purchase yourself. I will provide my shipping address and once the item(s) arrive, it will promptly be shipped out to you via USPS First-Class. $18 (flat rate service charge) + cost of shipping to you* + gift/4% paypal -------> the price for 3 items or less For online stores that do not accept Canadian credit cards, I ask that you paypal me the amount required for the purchase and info and I will order it. Once the item(s) arrive, it will promptly be shipped out to you via USPS First-Class. cost of item + cost of shipping to me (unless its free) + $18 (flat rate service charge) + cost of shipping to you* + gift/4% paypal -------> the price for 3 items or less _________________________________________________________________________ *shipping tops, bottoms, accessories start at $13, add $3 for each additional item listed to the total shoes and jackets start at $18, add $9 for each additional item listed to the total >no minimum >orders will always be marked as a gift >For GILT orders, please ask. I have found a loophole (actually my mother who lives in Canada did) which allows for canadian credit cards.

Can I ask where you are located? Also, or members willing to do this, it would be beneficial if you posted your results for other members to benefit from it, and increase (or not) the sellers rep.

minor price adjustment on additional items/per order. Thanks to all for the interest..orders from Gilt are pouring in.. If you're interested in purchasing from Gilt but live in Canada and own a credit card, please don't hesitate to contact me. You place the order yourselves and I will never ask for your credit card number. Cheers! -Alex

Hi there Just saw your thread re: proxy. It's definitely of interest to me. I've done quite a bit of buying from here over the past two years and I know that duty/tax is a hit and miss proposition for us up here. Sometimes we pay it and sometimes we don't. Do you have something going where it's less likely that we are going to pay the duty/tax? Can you give me an indication of what your customers have experienced in terms of paying the duty/tax on shipments that you send up here? Any info will be appreciated. I'm sure there are plenty of guys up here who are interested in your services.
Thanks for the interest. I don't think anyone can guarantee that you won't get hit by duties or tax, but I've shipped out over 150 orders in the past year and not one of my customers has reported getting hit with fees. I've had a customer order two items from Barney's that totaled $6000. I sent both in one package and she didn't get hit. I reuse cardboard boxes for shipping. I handwrite the addresses which gives the package a more personal look to it, and I tape the shipping address directly over where they would cut to open the package. If they do open it, they would have to rewrite the address and tape it back on. Does this deter them from opening the package? Maybe! I like to think it does. Most of my clients usually know their sizing spot on, and have no problems with me removing price tags. Others ask that return labels and tags be sent separately in an envelope in case a return/exchange is needed. I'm happy to do that. And as always, packages are marked as gifts with a low value. Even if you do get hit with duty/taxes, it's minimal compared to the amount you would be paying if you were to have a shop here in the states ship directly to you. Hope that sort of answers it. Cheers! Alex

I just sent out an order of Y-3 sneakers, I asked the person to post a reply once he gets them.
