Edward Green Trunk Shows...

So, I have been looking everywhere but have found almost no information. Does anyone know if there is a schedule for the Edward Green trunk shows in 2010? I know Leffot recently had one, as did Sky Valet (and I believe they are having another one soon). However, since I do not live even remotely close to either of these two cities, it would be handy if I could find a schedule so I could plan a trip accordingly.

As thus, I ask the SF gurus for their wisdom.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have even tried to email EG directly, but they have not been the most helpful in this regard.

Thank you very much for any leads you can give me!

In addition to the original query, I, too, am also curious as to whether the few US based retailers, charge in dollars or pounds and if any price adjustments will be made in light of the pound's depreciation.

If not, what is the advantage of ordering through a middleman, assuming one already knows his EG size? I suppose that EG could and will handle international order requests via email directly, no?

Is there no pediwear equivalent online store that offers EG?

I believe you can order from EG direct. They are very responsive over email.

email skyvalet and leffot directly; what are you looking to see at a trunk show that you can't see at a normal store visit?

US based retailers charge in dollars. They get the benefit of the lower currency . Buy from EG directly if you want things cheaply.

EG effectively makes every shoe to order. The only stock they have on hand is in their own store. Therefore there's no pediwear.

Because EG effectively makes every shoe to order, a trunk show will typically have a larger range of models than the retailer hosting it (even Leffot).

So: call Leffot for New York, or Skyvalet for DC if you need to see the shoes before buying, or call EG if you know what you want and want to pounce on sterling.

Hillary is on the road now, she was in Montreal at Uomo last Wednesday. I would think she has already been through NYC and DC by now.

Well, I don't fall into the 'typical' sizes, so it has been suggested to me that I need to experiment with different widths (read: Hassle). As such, I would like to be measured by one of the EG people at a trunk show. And I guess I was wondering if there were other trunk shows than the ones put on by Leffot and SkyValet, as those are at a relatively inconvenient location to me.

Thank you for the suggestions though.
