I vaguely remember this guy. I can't remember how he landed his program, but he was in one of those protracted chef battle things, lost a lot of weight, they got his Food Network show. Long and short of it is, he tried to hire two homeless doods to off his woman.

Yikes.

Mods, feel free to move this, but thought it fit here well.

apparently his vegetable, seafood, and meat selection judgment is better than his assassin selection judgment.

The criminal complaint filed Monday accused Cruz, 48, of trying to hire David Carrington and David Walters -- homeless men who go by the street names Little Dave and Big Dave
Street names do not equal street cred

It was not immediately clear which was Little Dave and which was Big Dave.
Little Dave is obviously the one who read The Juan-Carlos Cruz Calorie Countdown Cookbook: A 5-Week Eating Strategy for Sustainable Weight Loss. Big Dave did not.

I don't remember him from TV, but can't you get pubes in your food if you cook "commando" ?

well, see, "cooking" them would kind of kill the point (not the spouse). you'd want to serve the oysters in the half-shell, maybe with a very strong mignonette to disguise the flavor; and the meat in a tartar ... my guess is truffle oil would kill the scent of anything else. that's how you'd do it.

I'm recalling a 2004 case when St. Louis Blues center Michael Danton was arrested by FBI agents on charges of trying to hire someone to kill a male lover.

I don't think any part of it occurred in a bathroom stall ... or involved male pages ... so perhaps not.
