Do you live in Kobe and work in Osaka?

5 minute drive (about to change into a 10 minute bike ride.)
1 hour train
20 minute subway.

It kind of sucks, but I get some extra sleep in the morning on the train and get to read some news on the Subway. On my way back home, I get to read a book or take another nap. It's annoying that I'm not able to do more productive things with this time, but it could definitely be worse. The expense is a bit of a killer, though. $3288 yearly for the train, which $2760 is tax deductible. Unfortunately, I guess that's just life in Long Island.

$ minutes... If I hit the lights right. 7 minutes if I hit the lights wrong.

Three-and-a-half minutes, no stoplights. I live downtown, work in the Capitol. I come home on my lunch break and grill hamburgers. I love my life. People who spend hours commuting mystify me. All that time wasted....

My dad spends five hours a day driving round trip. I feel bad for him. He recently has a huge anxiety attack. My guess is it's from all of the alone time on the road.

Holy shit! Back when I used to take the bus more often (for high school), I thought $55 monthly for a pass was expensive. Guess I didn't have it so bad.

FIVE HOURS? I would quit on the first day, that is beyond human capability.

Very easy commute. The catch the subway a block down from my building, take it two stops, and the exit station is 100 feet from the entrance to my current client. Apartment door to desk takes about 15 minutes total. I'm contracted here until December

A friend of mine got a ticket in your city on the LRT a little while back... said it was in a station he has never seen a cop, but some new guy was being trained and I guess they wanted to use a deserted station.
