The music had a very different character with Dio in the band. In fact, some of my favorite Sabbath songs are Dio era. Didn't realize he was from New Hampshire.

Good album, but I would have to say the best of the Dio Sabbath albums was Heaven and Hell without a doubt, then Mob Rules. Heaven and Hell really set the bar for serious metal in the 80s..

I still remember the day I discovered Dio. It was in high school and we were bored in my friend's basement.

We decided to search Napster for every three-letter band ending with "-io", starting with Aio and finishing with Zio. In one hour I discovered both rock legend RJ Dio ("Rainbow in the Dark", "Holy Diver"), and French cheesepop sensation Lio ("Banana Split"). Those were the days.
