They also did kind of a weird thing on the bonus disk - they had some unfinished songs from Exile, so they added vocals - Mick's 70 year old vocals.

I grabbed this yesterday. Sounds like a brand new album but with the old-school blues/country influence that made early rock so great.

I will have to listen to my original sometime to compare because I can't even remember what it used to sound like.

EDIT: the songs on the bonus disc are amazing.

Just bought it as well. The remaster sounds incredible. The "You got to roll me" break on Tumblin Dice is magnificent. There's a greater instrument separation on the CD in general. More pronounced bass drum. They really did a good job on this. The only criticism I have is their decision to add dynamic range compression to 'modernize' the sound. It's not overwhelmingly noticeable, but it's there.

Jimmy Fallons show dedicated a whole week to the release with a different musical guest playing a song each night and then showing the documentary for the final week night. It was really great.

Yeah, I've listened to it on headphones and I noticed the bigger kick and thought that was great. Thats all I noticed though. I'll have to listen to it on my room mates towers some day.

I noticed this even on the "internet radio" version I heard.

Keith Urban also does a really good Tumbling Dice. Drummer fux it up in the beginning but they recover quickly.

OK, now I know all those years of running with my iPod on full are taking their toll. I bought this Friday and I swear, I cannot hear the difference..
