Sneakers wearing out too fast - can I topy them?

My Asics Mexico 66 sneakers are wearing out much more quickly than anticipated.

Has anyone added a sole to the bottom of sneakers, in a similar manner as to how guys in the Mens Clothing forum add a topy to leather soles shoes?

Does this make sense?

Asics Mexico 66 sneakers' soles wear out fairly easy, in my experience. I used them @ the gym and during runs a while back... Now, I wear Nike Free 3.0.

Buy a new pair or a different brand/similar style.

no, the rubber topys cannot be bonded to a sneaker's rubber sole due to volatile chemical reactions with the glue. men have died in their attempts.

these aren't particularly expensive shoes. just get a new pair.

I have a pair and I hardly ever wear them because of this. Just wear them in rotation with a few pairs of other sneakers to make them last.

Let's invent a goodyear welted sneaker! We'll make millions! Well, maybe not.

The adidas outsoles (Dragon, Marathon 80) wear much longer than the asics outsoles.
