Try Tart Arnel or Legend: There is also some kind of "James Dean" repro that have a similar look.

I just assumed that I was seeing the Persol arrow there, as it's hard to see at that resolution.

Many manufacturers make models like this. It could be Tart.

Those look pretty close; Francois Pinton has a similar model as does RLPL, as someone said before, Moscot would be a good place to look.

i have the moscot frame in question-the lemtosh in blonde. it is not the even close to the pair in NxNw. even though they are great frames and i am very pleased with them

^ i also have the 649's and can tell you they aren't them. I would think, with common sense, if Persol made the frames in NxNW, they would realize they would be back in demand and re-issue them. I am sticking by my original statement and say they are from Pinton-or something else that hasn't been mentioned thus far.

Definitely not the 714 or 649 by Persol. Did you not even think to google either of those frames and compare them to the photos of Cary Grant?

they have the persol arrow, that's the matter why is "for sure"
i write several times they're NOT the 649-714...

we are talking about a question that is gone on for years in the hollywood world, just as for the suite of this movie...

is only a trivia that many would like to find...

there is no fixation, only a great actor and good movies...

i can't really understand what contribution you gave to the 3d with your post,if i don't know nothing or i don't like someone that does not interest me,i simply go for something different

Sidebar, but regarding the suit I remember an interview with Hitch when asked how did he keep CG looking so good he said there were six identical suits that he got through during the filming. I have a picture of CG in closeup from NXNW and although the suit looks monochrome it's actually got a subtle glen plaid type check in it.

no news....

I've got a pair I think are similar (caveat, I'm not really "into" sunglasses; so, if they're not even close, I apologize).

I'm not sure what the model number is, but the original box happened to be in my desk drawer. This may or may not be the box that matches these glasses. The salesperson brought the box out after I had selected and decided to buy the frames. My receipt says "2931-S", which is also on the inside of the left temple (see full description below).

Also, I wasn't able to capture this with my phone camera, but on the inside of the left of the left temple (is that the correct word?), it says "2931-S 24/31 53[square shape]17 14D 3N"

Here is a link to a site selling that style.

hi,and thanks for your post,but they aren't
they are almost the same of the persol ratti 850,exept for the "olive" that in the 850 are vertical....
i've tryed to ask directly to persol but they don't know(they say to me look the new 2961s )

ahahah after i send them an email asking them about this and about the thomas crown limited edition 714 sold and customized by eyegoodies.com they've launched the new official 714 SM limited edition
even if they're wrong with them, because the original were havana and not light havana and the lens were dark - no mirror blue and not the .56 code light mirror blue lens they've fitted the new model with
