R vs. l for suits

Thread Starter
I'm looking for an interviewing suit, but most of the beautiful suits at lower prices from ebay, bluefly, etc. do not seem to show any longs--yoxx and bluefly in particular. How big is the difference? I have fairly long arms (36"), but I'm not particularly long-waisted. 43L is usually my ideal size, but 42 or 44 otherwise depending on the cut. Thanks & great forum.

YL: It's best to ask for measurements, and compare them if you can with something you already own that fits. See the HOF how to measure for E-Bay thread above.

Hi younglawyer - I am about the same size as you and also have long arms, and it seems like a lot of the Euro brands either don't do long sizes or don't make many of them. However, some brands tend to be cut longer than others - I have found Helmut Lang suits in particular have pretty long arms, and there are a bunch of HL suits on sale on Yoox right now.
