I dunno. I live in Dallas and used to live in Arlington. Arlington and a lot of the northern suburbs don't really have any "modernist" homes so far as a I can remember. McMansions abound and very un-original cookie-cutter red brick houses. I would guess you'd be more likely to see houses like this popping-up in older areas of Dallas like Forest Hills, Lake Highlands, and Highland Park where new owners are buying lots, tearing down old homes, and building these.
Dallas does have some pockets of mid-century modern homes that have kept their charm. The neighborhood I live in has quite a few houses that still have their original ground to roof stained glass windows like mine. I did have to go back and change a lot of the details in my 1964-built MCM home like floral chandeliers back to globes and similar lighting.
